Sensor And Clipping The Movies

When watching a move on True (Gold Package), I notice that most (if not all) movies have been edited.

Sometimes it seems like a movie is just shortened to fit into the time schedule. So many scenes are basically just removed.

Who is actually doing this when one watches a movie on HBO here in Thailand?

Is it HBO, or True who do the editing?

I have more or less stopped watching the movies, and keep the cable tv purely for the football (soccer).
