Featured Replies

Does anyone know any locations near Chanthaburi? I fish the river next to my baan and a few ponds nearby. Suggestions are welcomed.

Id like to know as well :P I live in BKK but want to do a trip to kanchanaruri (is it the same).

Just out of curiosity how goes the fsihing on the river. I recently ordered something that i think would aid river fishing a lot (fox arma mesh) just look it up.

Different province Rob. Chantaburi is on the East coast on the border with Cambodia. Kan as you know is in the West and borders Myanmar.

The fishing is ok. It is brackish water and of course tidal, which determines the bite.

My problem is I'm accostumed to freshwater bass fishing with lures.

The river is fishing with bait and drinking whisky. Which I do enjoy a lot, but would like to do some lure fishing as well.

Have you tried the lake a few Kilometers past the drivers lic. building? Just stay on that road and it ends up at a very large lake........J
