Travelling With Dual National Children

Featured Replies

I'm planning a visit to UK in the summer with my Thai GF and young son, he has been registered with British Embassy and has British passport.

I am planning to get him a Thai passport also. Is there any problem if he leaves on Thai Passport and enters UK on British Passport then returns to Thailand with no UK entry stamp in his Thai passport.

That is what most of us do when we travel cross countries,

leaving with TPP and returning with same TPP, and;

entering own country with own country PP and leaving with same own country PP, w/o any difficulty.... yet to date. :)

Relax and enjoy your travel. :D

what he said :) Have a great trip

As above. At check-in the ariline will check if your son has a valid visa. For that simply show both passports at airline check-in.

Yep, my kids leave & enter Thailand on their Thai passports, and enter and leave Australia on their Australian passports.

No hassels, no raised eyebrows, no interogations (even when traveling as a single parent with my children).
