I plan to go on a holiday in Thailand with a friend who is experienced in Thailand he can speak Thai been there many times before. I'm a single guy in my mid 20's I would like to go to bars in thailand where I will find majourity western women (I prefer English women) I find them easiest to talk to and fun to be around. [snip]

So can you please list good places to go to where I will meet more western women preferable English women.

you can ask about what bars to go to where western women hang out. absolutely no problem there

but i dont see why you need to berate other men, or even other women for that matter, for their choices and preferences

you can check out some of the networking sites for expats perhaps. they hold monthly events (albeit they are meant to be business networking events, but many also use it as a socialising venue)

things like: European young professionals, German Young Professionals

alternatively some bars that you will find expats include: Bed Supperclub, Nars, Koi, Qbar and others

Ive been away for sometime so not sure which others are still popular. perhaps others can shed more update....

Can you be more specific? I lived in North America for most of my life, and I came across very few English women.

In all seriousness, though, you didn't specify where you will be going in Thailand. Assuming Bangkok, I suggest that you check out some of the bars on Sukumvit 11 - Cheap Charlie's, The Australian Bar, etc. Or, try the bars along Khao San Road if you're looking for other young tourists.

cheers Jamie, but I haven't been to the FMP in ages. Not my scene. But there is truth to the matter that if you hang out in backpacker areas you will be sure to meet English girls.

Ok, I won't! But I would love to hear why English girls are better or maybe hear some of reasons why Thai women aren't as good/ better. It might make for some interesting posts!
