How To Get To Impact Arena For Concert Tonight

Featured Replies

Off to the Eagles Sunday night, plan on grabbing a hotel in down town Bangkok close to a BTS / MRT station, I have never been to Impact for a concert, does anyone know if they have special public transport that is actual convenient and works from central transit spots?

Or should I just get a cab with a 6 pack there and be happy with a 5hr shuffle home?

cheers :)

victory monument hae buses that dropp off near impact arena.

Sometimes the buses run from inside the car park at Mochit BTS station to Impact. If not the minivans go to Popular Market (just past Impact) from Mochit near the bus stops. Or take a taxi over the expressway from Victory, should get off at Chaengwattana exit and bear right, go over the flyover and down onto Chaengwattana, then bear left to the Impact.

Your problem will be when the concert has finished, dependent on time and the amount of people who are attending. Normally there will be plenty of taxis at such an event, if you are traveling back to Victory or into town, then get the taxi driver to go straight across at the Roundabout towards Sukothai University, as he can get onto the expressway from here and not have to go down Vibhavadi Rangsit or do a big u-turn on Chaengwattana. Minivans will probably still be running from Popular to Mochit or Victory.

Thank you for your advice. :)

For a taxi after the show walk behind the arena to near the Sports Complex there and they will go right onto the highway.
