Test For Low Sperm Count

I recently opened a thread about getting a vasectomy and got a lot of helpful information. Since I am 63, a couple of people have suggested that I have a sperm count test done 1st to help determine whether I have enough healthy little buggers to even impregnate my GF.

Has anyone made this type of test to avoid the vasectomy op. If anyone has, how low a sperm count other than 0 would be considered safe or is this a waste of money (only 500baht at local hospital). From what I read so far here and on various sites, a vasectomy is a good way to go but would not be necessary if I found out that I am already shootings blanks.

I can bet if it's not a zero, there will be a chance to get a girl pregnant so you might get "lucky" one day.

On the other hand there was a research to use the Testosterone injections to cease the sperm production in males but in the negative light of the steroid hormones abuse by bodybuilders, that research didn't go too far since it was very unlikely that it would have been approved. With exogenous testosterone, your body will cease own testosterone production together with sperm production and testicles will begin to shrink due to their inactivity. Testicular shrinking is a reversable condition that would reverse over some time after you stop taking exogenous testosterone, and their funtion would resume.

Since everyone on a forum is saying that Testoviron depot is the OTC medicine in Thailand, it must be perfectly legal to buy and use it.

Not saying you should do it, just giving you some ideas to think about. If your sperm count is already too low, this would make it even lower.

Even if your sperm count were 0 (most unlikely) when tested, you might still produce some sperm at a later point.
