UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud

Europe Braces for Escalation: Germany Mobilizes NATO Troops Amid Putin's Nuclear Threats
I'm afraid I wasn't interested in your idea on how to solve the conflict, and you well know it since I've asked the same question several times now. Ukraine isn't willing to cede territory without a good fight, and that's true of pretty well all nation states. Give me a good reason why they should? Russia is willing to nuke the world if they don't gain territory, and you appear to not to be critical of that in the slightest? Don't be vague. In their sights how, if not a ground invasion. Please be specific, in their sights has a broad scope. What did Russia fear so much they were compelled to invade a state? -

South Korean influencer sparks concern regarding Thai work permit
I wouldn't mind if all those YouTubers shut up. Had to endure a conversation this morning, about how fascinating Msphere is on YouTube - must see! -

What's the best white paint to reflect sunlight radiation (heat)?
You need plywood with foil on one side to block re-radiation of infrared. Paint by itself will reduce the heat transfer by a little bit only. There is still significant amount of conductive heat transfer through the plywood because the white surface of the plywood heats up. Foil side on plywood must be facing interior and only exposed to dead calm air to minimize convective heat transfer. Ideally, this would on the inside face of the roof as well if there is not an apartment above yours. Actually, the better location for the foil is the inside face of the window glazing. Then you don’t need any painting at all. Install the noise absorbing plywood mass so that there is an air gap to the glazing. Caulk the gaps around the edges to block the significant sound leakage through cracks. You must use thick , stiff plywood to get enough mass and avoid a diaphragm effect ( think speakers). Probably 15 or 20 mm with thickness higher for longer spans. Also, you can screw on a strong-back stiffener , maybe 50x50 mm if both dimensions of the glazing are long. if you paint the outer face of the plywood, look for a white coating designed to be applied to flat roofs. Otherwise , any white paint with high TiO2 content. The room walls and structural bits in contact with each other will conduct heat from the outside to the inside surface of the room walls no matter what you do with the windows. Air leakage through the wall component joint gaps will bring in heat and moisture as well. If the outside surface is masonry, it will contimue to radiate heat long after the sun goes down, particularly on West facing walls. Maybe it would be easier to move ? -

Elon Musk Sparks Controversy, Calling the UK a ‘Tyrannical Police State’
Twitter wasn't exactly a gold mine when he bought it. It has always been a failed business. It is difficult to put a value on the amount of power he has acquired from that purchase. Either way to say he failed to manage it is a bit off the mark. -

Do you always use a Condom?
This has to be one of the most ridiculous troll topics I’ve come across on AN. A group of middle-aged geezers in Thailand debating the pros and cons of using condoms? If anyone here still isn’t clear on this subject, it might be time for you to pull the plug and check out now. -

Dr recommendation for prostate radiation and cost
Ask your GP for referrals to radiation oncologists with good prostate cancer experience in your area. Costs? That's going to depend heavily on your insurance and the specific treatment plan.
