went to change name on meter today,had all paper work they told me to bring.I HAVE BEEN BACK 3 TIMES TODAY.each time they come up with another paper for me to show,im sure they all want to see us get angry,in the end i had to walk out after getting no whare and also they said when they do change meter they will leave me with no electric for 1 week <deleted>,they are hopeless in there and i will never go back,my gf will have to go back,but im sure they will want more papers again they seem to make it up as they go,so 3 trips there from chaweng and 2 of us 1 day off work and still nothing,things like this make me wonder why i live here.

As i said, imbeciles. No wonder the electrics on the island are so f_ucked up.

5/ Always send a local to deal with governmental departments.

They were good as Gold with me a couple of weeks back getting copies of stuff i wanted..

It's all about how you struucture it i think, if you have a Thai onside then you should really try & utilise " her " as much as you possibly can..

Problem's come into play when utilising " her " is bordering on useless anyway..

I had exactly the same problem at Banglamung some years ago. In the end when they demanded another form from the bank i told them to process the application without it. Eventually the woman did but told me not to complain if the application was rejected. Fortunately it was ok.
