The other day while looking through my files i realised my girlfriend doesnt have her birth certificate. I asked where it was and she said she lost in in thailand, before she came to england. Although i swear ive seen it in the UK.

Can anyone tell me how we could go about getting a replacement?

Who needs daytime soaps with TV? :o

I believe the subject has been covered within the last year and may have required the presence of the subject (but not sure on that).

My wife lost her birth certificate (before we met)

She now has a Letter of Place of Birth Certificate.

We have the initial Thai Document and an english transulation..this transulation has also been 'seen and stamped' at The Ministry Of Forien Affairs (of Thailand).

To get it three people said where and when she was born:

The Village Headman

One of her sisters

Her uncle

Looks like she will have to do at least the same

I dont think that there is any other way
