Featured Replies

Hi all

For anyone that maybe looking or know of someone that is.

I have a UWATEC GALILEO SOL with wireless transmitter & heartrate monitor. Software and manual.

Little use, in good condition.

Yeah...that fancy gear I don't like either...too much information overload. Like I really give a rat's arse what my heartbeat is while I'm diving. Give me an analog depth and pressure guage and Sunto Gecko and I'm good to dive :)

Fully agree about the heart rate but I love the wireless sender for the air pressure etc. 1 Look at the D9 and you have all the info you need without having to fumble about finding your SPG ;)

Forgot to add. Can't fault the ghekko either. A very good basic computer that tells you all you need to enjoy your diving.

PS what is a reasonable offer

I would still dive with an SPG as backup...as what happens when the battery on the tank transmitter dies or just malfunctions. Would rather have a mechanical SPG and my Gecko rather than all electronic/wireless gear.

I still have the SPG, compass etc on my console and wouldn't dream of not diving without them. I still find just looking at my computer to tell me all I need to know very easy.
