House Speaker Declines Thai MPs' Offer For Bt3,000 Salary Deduction To Help Japan

What he means is that the corrupt MPs will need every last baht to buy votes from the poor masses and then claw that back a thousandfold in graft.

They are a disgrace, they know they are, the people know they are and yet nothing is ever done. Perhaps Japan and the rest of the world should just stand by and let Thailand suffer the next time they have their rice bowl out.

I do not understand why many of you expect Thai MP's to accept a forced donation. I have not heard this being proposed in any other country. Is this happening in your "home" country?

If it is being forced upon you, then it is not a donation.

You mean like the 200 million Baht of yours and my tax-money the parliament now decided to donate?
