I've got to meet someone for business on Ratchada Pisek for lunch. nothing fancy..... just an "everyday" type spot. Other party is Thai.

Esplanade Shopping centres a couple minutes walk from the Thai Cultural Centre, plenty choice downstairs in there. Scoozi/MK/Fuji/noodles etc etc.

Or at the corner outside Cyber World theres quite a popular som tam restaurant, or at Robinsons theres a couple of restaurants to choose from.

Esplanade would be a good choice. There's a couple of better restaurants downstairs, or the normal MK's, Oishi, etc. You're inside and out of the weather quickly from TCC, and then you have plenty of choice.
