Dental Checkup In Phuket

Featured Replies

It's been a while since I had a clean and polish and I have some pain around a tooth in my jaw I think needs looking at. I've never been to a doctor in Thailand, much less a dentist and I am concerned about doing so.I've heard such fears are unfounded and that the LOS offers some of the best facilities in the world at some of the lowest rates. Can anyone recommend a place in Phuket they've had a positive experience with?Cheers

No experience but a check last week of four leading clinics only got one email response to my simple question. That was Pearl near Pearl Hotel and price/payment schedule appeared to be better than what I know of others. I would have no hesitation using them. Yes dental is not something to fear here. In most cases it is specialist treatment and painless. What I would avoid is the small single person office where sanitation may not be up to any reasonable standards.

CrankyCarrot, I use the dental center at Bangkok-Phuket Hospital and I think if you go onto the Phuket Forum and ask this, 80%-90% of the posters will say the same.

Clean, modern, maybe a tad more expensive than the "Mom and Pop" Brite Smiles type shops, but worth it.

Actually if you go onto the Phuket Forum, just use the search and type in Dentist, over the years I've seen a few threads.

Ok, thanks guys.

I wasn't sure where to search/post, but in hindsight yours suggestions probably should have occurred to me. I'll do a local forum search...

Gotta fix them bleeding gums asap :)=)
