Rimmer Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Pattaya Sea Rescue on high alert as high winds and rough seas hit Pattaya PATTAYA: -- The Pattaya Sea Rescue Unit is on high alert over the next 24 to 48 hours as high winds and rough seas hit Pattaya. Parts of Southern Thailand including the holiday Island of Koh Samui are currently cut-off from the rest of Thailand after heavy rain and high winds caused major flooding which shut the airport and ferry services to and from the Island. Currently 9 people have died as a result of the extreme weather conditions.
