Hi,

I wasted a lot of diesel running around Thursday looking for diesel. No place that usually sells it has any left. One guy said a boat was due in about 2 - 3 in the afternoon, but I don't have enough diesel left to "explore". I have to make sure that diesel is available before I take off looking for some, or I might be walking home.

A friend said they had a diesel only pump station on the Airport Road. If I don't get any more solid info by tomorrow morning, it's the one place I will check out, as I can get there and back from my home without running out.

To make matters more complicated, I have to do my 90 day check in with Samui Immigration.

Please let us diesel users know where diesel can be obtained.

Diesel was available yesterday at the gas station next to the airport. It's between arrivals and the old terminal.

The locals says that this gas station 'water downs' their gasoline and diesel. Hehehehe.

Seriously, this station sucks and it's the word on the street indeed (not that it's possible, but explain to a local Thai ) but they may have diesel. I personally do not use this station since over two years.

Caltex Chaweng. Yesterday.

Needed yesterday afternoon 1+ hour from Big C to PTT Chaweng/main road, because of an enormous traffic jam. Everyone headed there. Many with barrels at the back of their pick ups.

Was worried first, that when I arrive there nothing will be left. But finally at the petrol station they announced through loudspeakers to keep chai yen yen, because they had enough diesel for everyone...!

They even thanked everyone, because they used their service...

From yesterday all the traffic jams I saw to get gas especially diesel anyone have a update report. I need to get diesel gas for my truck but dont want to drive around especially since I don't have any idea on whats left. I've got enough gas to get be by for now
