New Storm Drains

Featured Replies

The new mayor has decided that all beach side resort resorts must install new storm drains to the ocean.

The drain must be minimum 1 meter wide and the estimated cost will be 50 MBaht per resort.

This move comes after the recent flooding.

The Teesabaan will provide the resort owners with 50.000 baht in compensation per resort.

In the same statement the mayor also declared that all taxis must run on half the meter charge during flooding.

The Teesabaan will pay the other half of the taxi meter cost.

In the statement the mayor proclaimed "It's good for the the Taxi association of Samui".

In a unrelated story, Bangkok airways has decided to give a 50% refund to passengers that has been affected by the recent flooding.

The refund must be picked up in person at Bangkok airways office in Chaweng, Samui.
