September 25, 200520 yr First race today where 25 nations will race against each other in identical race cars, should be interesting. Follow it on your tv -espn , or make your comments here on www.A1GPBlog.com
September 25, 200520 yr We wait with baited breath to see if this is as good as it's being advertised. I hope it is as it will keep GP racing on the TV over the winter and give F1 the kick up the backside it needs.

Who chose the Ellesmere Port 'big boned' slappers to 'assist' with the prize giving? And how come Khalil Beschir can perform two double somersaults with triple toe loop and still look like he had been for an uneventful drive in the country? I fell off a chair 5 weeks ago and it's still painful now! Suggestions for better names for the drivers, anybody? Scott Speed and Will Power need some company. September 26, 200520 yr I watched the qualifying, a bit tedious I thought. Surely the producer could pick out individual cars and give us a chance to see all teams during qualifying except concentrating on the better ones? Then the sprint race - spoilt as usual by TV adverts. A 30 min. race doesn't have to be split with 3 commercial breaks, does it ?? I lost interest and never bothered watching the main race. They can televise a full 45 mins. for a footy match without interuptions, so why not a 30 min. GP race? Are they extracting the urine or what??
September 26, 200520 yr Old man Piquet appeared more emotional when his lad was presented the trophies than ever he was when he won himself (and was it 19 years ago?). I used to work for Brabhams back in 1983. I was Piquet's brake man He was a bit arrogant and solemn but could deliver the goods when needed. Piquet was world champ in 81,83 and 87 so I make that 18 years ago Thanks for posting the results
September 27, 200520 yr Suggestions for better names for the drivers, anybody? Scott Speed and Will Power need some company. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was thinking: 'Arry 'Orspower Slick Tyre Percy Podium Oh well. bored as usual.
September 27, 200520 yr Piquet Verstappen Lauda Jones A few chips off the old block among the drivers, has the makings of a good series if they live up to their fathers abilities.
