I have seen so many posts on here "discussing" the number of red shirts at a particular rally in a manner to suggest that numbers /support were dwindling. You gave some "reasons" - are they facts? What do you think the english text on some of the displays were going to say - "red shirt brains blown out because he/she was shot by one of his/her own side just to blame the government" and I mean this in jest just in case you think that I am in tune with the rest of you. As far as the gruesome displays go, a) do you want everybody to forget about it? b)How else do you explain the results of head and stomach shots, they fell badly? As for ignoring some aspects did I not say both sides of the conflict were killed. My point is that over the last few rallies k. Jatuporn has ALWAYS given ridiculous numbers which failed to appear. That's inline with the OP. All the rest of your latest reply should not be here, but in other threads. We've even discussed some of it before. I will not do that either again or here. This will drag on again Because it is Songkran a long holiday, then there will be more cries when force has to be used to disperse these morons. How many will die this time before the government realize you can't give in to terrorism. Last years fiasco proved protesters / terrorists cannot be trusted. IF they DO NOT disperse by their agreed time on Monday the government should not hesitate and send in the military IMMEDIATELY to move them. DELAYS COST LIVES LAST TIME !!! You have the always same 3.000-5.000 communists+strong supporters of Thaksin and than the others which get paid and transportation organized, to make the quantity. When I call some of your remarks on my post OT it doesn't logically follow that the post you remark to was OT. Check again, all regarding attendance and possible reasons for actual numbers. Possible cause: - gone home for Songkhran - protest fatigue, bored - rain expected - tasteful displays a wee bit too much for people with small children - ISOC prevented red-shirts from joining - Army interference feared - any other reason which makes it clear it wasn't us The red left claim the leadership have sold out and that is why recent rallies in BKK and Korat have failed to meet expectations. There was one in Udon which it is claimed had many tens of thousands. In a way reassuring to see the hardline and braindead PAD view still has some support, namely that the redshirt opposition consists of a few thousand commies and a ballast of paid peasants. Maybe the "red left" have started to realize this only after the UDD's true goals (Thaksin) have been explicitly spelled out to them by recent events. "Better late than never". Legal or not, I don't feel safe with any of these protesters around. This year, I'd like to go to the Dusit Zoo. For the last two years at Songkran, I have not been able to go because of these Red-shirt demonstrations.
