Looking For A Nanny & Regular Taxi In Cherngtalay

Featured Replies

Greetings all. New member to the site and new to Phuket. What is the normal rate of a nanny in Phuket? Do not mind the nationality. Also would like to find a regular taxi driver in Cherngtalay for my wife. Can send a PM if you like.

Thank you

If you get no replies here, with numbers etc, then your best bet is to go to the nearest taxi rank, and get your wife to have a word. Start at the one at Tesco maybe. If you need it a bit cheaper, then get your wife to ask around the neighbours, maybe someone will be interested to do it on the side. (subtly of course)

As far as the nanny is concerned. My only advice is to be extra careful. There has been some horror stories over the years, lots of them concerning Burmese women.

Welcome to Thaivisa :)

only individuals with Thai ID card can be employed legally as nannys. Wages depends on working hours and qualifications, but expect 7-15k baht a month. make sure you have a copy of the ID card
