Thai Words With All The Alternate Ending (Besides The 8 Typical Ending)

Hi everyone, I remembered seeing a forum(I believe here because of the 3000 common words topic) that has a list of all the thai words endings. (At this point, I do know that my explanation is piss poor but my examples will paint a very clear picture.)

For example, there is a topic where there is a list of all the thai words that ends with "ญ", a list of all the thai words that ends in "ธ", and so on and so forth.

Anybody chance upon that? I tried googling for it but it didn't give me what I want.

I'll appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this. Thank you.

I haven't seen a list like that, but you could make one yourself.

Go to:

http://www.thai-language.com/dict

Then in the 1st box for Thai terms select "ends with"

Type in the letter you want, for instance "ญ", hit enter and you'll get all the words ending with that letter.

To the O/P:

A quick perusal of words ending with ญ yielded 6 common words out of 215 results returned.

For words ending with ธ it had 4 common words out of 75 results, although the word weapon อาวุธ wasn't listed as a common word, but further down in the results.

It would appear you're gonna hafta go thru the results and weed out compound phrases with the words you want mixed in, also example sentences too and sort 'em out that way. Still it does work so you can compile the word endings you want to find.

I don't know how many 'racy' or 'gay/lesbian' words end in the letters you're looking for, but I always go to 'site settings' and click the two tabs which enable 'gay/lesbian' and 'racy' words. It can sometimes yield more up to date usage and slang.
