Any Water Throwing Started Yet?

Featured Replies

It's the 12th, any water throwing / squirt guns in the streets of Bangkok yet?

All quiet on Onnut. If there is one thing I hate more than Songkran it's early Songkran.

The doors to the bomb shelter will be locked from tomorrow AM. Only trips will be in the car, doors locked to Seacon Sq.

sum one said there'll be yellow shirts menacing foreign travelers with squirt guns at the airport...I'll be carrying heavy ordnance when I approach to catch my flight on Thurs...:realangry:

Soi Cowboy is wet today.

Time to batten down the hatches and hole up til Sunday.

Yes to the best of my memory for last year, hardly anything started until the 13th. I was also in On Nut at that time last year, but I didn't go out much at all.

Whizbang, I reckon everything should wrap up later Friday evening, with the coast being clear on Sat and Sun. At least last year I didn't see any water fighting on the 16th.

Soi Nana was total war today i was told when i arrived about 7:30 pm, the street looked like after a heavy rainfall and the staff in the bars was wiping the floors, the bins was full of water and so on, but the worst was allready over, i just got a few hits from some Thai street vendor.

I will arm myself tomorrow.

Silom Soi 4 last night (Tuesday) was drenched last night. Mostly all Westerners throwing water, spraying water from hoses and from those water guns at people coming out of restaurants wearing business casual clothes. A fight did break out between two westerners when the young son of one of the participants decided to throw a bucket of water all over this passerby and the passerby flew off the handle and slapped the kid, screaming the boy shorted out his computer in his bag. The father got up in that guys face and a fight started.

The rest of Silom, had their supplies setup and Thai’s and other Asians were waiting until midnight to start the water wars.

Cowboy's wet everyday isn't it? Well the girls are B)

Yeap, with all those fat, bald old men around. I'm sure the women are genuinely creaming themselves.
