I tried to buy some for a friend who was undergoing cancer treatment and was not allowed to ingest iodide. Couldn't find it and had to get some sea salt that was available.

I brought back some from the states for steaks. I was unable to find it anywhere in Thailand. They do have sea salt but it's very big. Maybe if you grind it up, it can be ok. The sea salt here is also very cheap.

I just saw a place named Crescendo in the new THong Lor 8 building (Near Soi 8--it has a Foodland inside as well.) They didn't have kosher salt, but they had several other kinds and blends such as Dead Sea salt and salt mixed with charcoal (tasted good, by-the-way.)

They also have a large selection of oils and vinegars as well. I didn't buy any salt as I still have more than enough for my use, but I did buy a number of vinegars which I am hankering to try out. But you might want to check them on the salts.

Did you manage to find non-iodised sea salt?

I've searched, unsuccessfully, high and low up here near Sisaket (Makro, Tesco, Big C etc.) for ANY non-iodised salt, of any description, and I can't find any.

I'll quite happily use either rock salt or coarse sea salt for my curing brines, as long as it's non-iodised, and I would be very grateful if anyone can point me towards a supplier.
