My 2 questions are in regards to the possible change in the law that would, in the near future, bar farongs over 50 from marrying thai woman. I am married to a kon thai for just shy of 3 years. We have no children. We married when I was 49 and she was 43. If she were to die first, since I am now past 50 and this law goes into place, I would not be allowed to remarry, according to what's being discussed in the legislature. The second large impact of this is that our house is in the name of my wife (actually my father in law) as required by law. If she dies first I would not be allowed to sell the house. Would this be true? What do people know about this new potential legislation and it's impact on people, like myself currently married, with yellow book, & non imm marriage visas?

My apologies if this has already been addressed.
