Only one sort of Thai girl is going to socialise with you in CM.

Up to you if you recognize her for the sort of girl she is.

Lots of guys just enjoy the fantasy, and never question what's going on.

Hotel maid, bank teller, school teacher, bar girl, university student .... the respectable ones don't socialise with foreigners.

And yes, bar girls that associate with white men are different from bar girls that associate with Asian men.

My missus is a graphic/ web designer. Some friends are teachers or office workers. It is totally untrue to say all thai girls with farang are bar girls in desguise.

But it would be true of any country that the girl you pickup n rock the first night you meet her probably int the one you want to be marrying. But then the op isn't looking for a wife so what's it matter.

There are naughty n nice girls at every socio economic level. One of the biggest Slags I've come across in cm , unfortunately at the expense of one of my mates, was from a very wealthy family, no fantasy or sharrard I've met the parents and been to the mansion; she seemed to get a kick out of collecting as many men to be bessotided with her as possible. Some girls might just like to " try" a fallang and have no intention of starting a relationship.

Girls are girls, humans , have naughty n nice good bad and all the in-betweens.

Why do some like to insist otherwise? Just no experience I guess. Just one of those things said again and again so many times by people who really don't know that it just becomes an accept truth.

Just because girls aren't shouting hey sexy man at u don't mean they are off limits; respect is the key. Too many falangs forget their manners completely coz they've been immersed in the bar seen.

That is only true of the hard-core hookers who work in Farang bars. There are lots of sex-workers who do not act any differently than anyone else.

Thanks, I only just read about the Downtown Inn thing after I booked my hotel. Oddly enough it's got plenty of good ratings on Agoda, anyway luckily I didn't book with them. I'm usually quite careful with my food, and i'm vegetarian so hopefully that will somewhat limit my chances of eating any contaminated food. I have to admit though I am a bit nervous in general now but im sure ill be fine after the 1st day or 2.
