Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has submitted a royal decree to HM the King to dissolve the House, House Speaker Chai Chidchob said on Tuesday.

Chai said that Abhisit already informed him that the decree was submitted for HM the King to sign on Tuesday.

It could not be known when the decree is approved, Chai said.

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Tuesday denied reports that he has submitted a royal decree to HM the King to dissolve the House.

House Speaker Chai Chidchob earlier told reporters that the premier already submitted the decree for approval.

Chai claimed Abhisit told him so.

Abhisit said Chai may misunderstand.

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has confirmed that he will submit a decree for House dissolution for royal approval this week. He made the confirmation amidst reports that a dissolution could be delayed by a week.
