Bts To Udom Suk - August.

I was told last year that the BTS will be extending to Udom Suk August this year.

Then I recieved thefollowing message from Goggle maps...

From August 2011, the Sukhumvit BTS line will extend to Bang Na and beyond. If you are in the habit of going up to Bangkok by bus and switching to the Sky Train at On Nut then from August you will be able to jump on the Sky Train at the start of Sukhumvit at Udomsuk

Will this actually happen??? I've been living for over two years with a skytrain station at the end of my soi. The thought of trains running along it is very exciting.

The Onuch-Baring extension is due to open to the public on 12 August. Its being tested right now.
