The Embassy is almost always in the capital city of a country. For Cambodia that is Phnom Penh. Cambodia takes three workdays for a normal visa process unless you use a third party.

so are you saying phnom penh is the only place to obtain a thai visa in cambodia? also for example if i hand in my passport on a tuesday morning, i will get the visa on friday morning or before?

It is technically the Consulate section of the Embassy and is in Phnom Penh. Yes it will take most of a workweek if you do yourself.

Hope if your going via Ban Laem it is not raining... Crossing over into Cambodia there you have mud roads believe there is a Bus to Phnom Penh which takes about 5 - 6 hours, talking to someone there that had been for a Tourist Visa they spent the total for nights and 16,000 baht for the trip, and said they would never do it on there own again..

If you need it Cambodia is easy for a double Visa.. 2x 60 days on one Visa.. You also need a full page Visa to enter Cambodia cost 1,500 baht

Lots of Companies doing the Phnom Penh Visa run using an Agent + just 1x night in Cambodia + a lot cheaper...

There again in my younger days would have loved to do it myself would never have give it a thought 4 or 14 nights would have been just the fun of it..

Tell us how you get on, have a good trip

Are you talking about a 60 day visa? I havent found any companies who do it with a 1 night stayover? they all say its 2 nights?

Could you please confirm where these companies are?

Thanks

There are a few on Google

I have only ever used one Company over 2 years will use them again in 66 days time, always been very good service, number of friends have used the same service for the 1x night stay in Cambodia while there passport are taken to PP via an Agent, Passport returned next afternoon with 60 day Visa or 2x 60 day Visa.
