I called the number found on the Internet with no luck. I conclude T.G.I existed but were closed ? Anyone has infos on this ?

There is no TGI Fridays anymore. There was one in Ploenchit Center years ago, they changed their name but kept a similar menu, don't know if it's still there or not though

Ok, do you remember where it was ? I saw a Mcdonald and a lebanese restaurant there, but nothing that looks like a TGI

It was one floor up from McDonalds, maybe two. It faced out towards the street, over the entrance. The inside still looked kinda like a TGI Fridays even though the name had changed. Was pretty good when I ate there and like a real TGI, but that was like 5 years ago

Hi... it was closed due to the nature of the franchise.. TGI's would send over someone to evaluate the running of the franchise and the standards. The franchisee had to pay all of the flights(business) for said person to fly over... originally this was once or twice a year, but the evaluator fell in love with a Thai bar girl and kept finding "things wrong" for him to come back over and over again and the franchisee's expense. The guy ended up moving on.

I digress. I am a former TGI fridays Manager and Master Bartender. If it's the cocktails you want,come and see me at Jameson's in Silom, I am starting a Fridays style cocktail menu on June 15th.
