Nice Hotels Near The Shopping Malls

Featured Replies

Hi friends,

My parents and Sister (TOTAL 3 GUESTS) are visiting Bangkok for a couple of days in June. They would like to stay in a 5 star Hotel or a nice service apartment near the branded shopping malls, e.g. Emporium.

Can you please recommend some hotel/service apartment options in the area, preferably those that have larger rooms or 1 bedroom accommodation?

Thanks so much,

Regards.

For a serviced apartment, there is Evergreen Place, beside the Asia hotel on Phaya Thai Road.  Or even the Asia hotel itself.  The BTS station Ratchathewi connects to the Asia hotel.  Plus it is an easy walk to MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Square and Paragon shopping centers.  A little further along and you have Central World and Gaysorn, not to mantion Amarin Plaza and even Big C.  Plus Pantip is also in the general area.  You can easily hop the BTS to get to Emporium or even head over into the Silom area.

Also in the same general area (Chitlom) there is the Holiday Inn, Intercontinental, Grand Hyatt Erawan and Amoma Hotels.

Basically, if your hotel is close to a BTS or MRT line, then you have easy access to a myriad of shopping pleasures.  If you intend to shop, then make sure you know your prices, as not everything is cheaper than back home, where ever that may be.

Op please don't start more than one thread on the same topic

Cheers
