Just had the ribs at Emeralds

Ended up eating with knife and fork cause my hands got so sticky I couldn't use my computer keyboard

Great and falling off the bone - also plenty of coleslaw

the proof is in the pudding..when has a picture EVER tasted good.....??????????????

I had them for lunch a few days ago and agree, they are good. (Finished the lot). They do fall off the bone and the sauce is very tasty (but not spicey). Yesterday the blackboard out the front was claiming "Best Ribs on The Rock" I dont think they are the best but very good anyway. I wil be back.

I think I may need to correct myself here, I had the ribs (as a starter) at the place up the road from the emerald mentioned in an earlier post which I had always thought was the best 'Ribs on the rock' but have to admit that the ones at the emerald were in fact better (and cheaper). So I stand corrected. Best Ribs On The Rock!!:jap:

messing around with jerk ribs at the moment i will let you know when we have it right ..yard food style

My wife enjoyed the ribs, although could not finish them, nine months pregnant and all.

As not English, I'll pass on the jerked ribs.

What's the deal for Christmas lunch at Emerald, perhaps you could give us a run down please?

we are just putting the feelers out to see what kind of numbers we will be doing..it will be a late sitting traditinal lunch , still pricing things up at the moment...i will post when we know for sure

On the recommendation of TV members we tried the Emerald bar ribs last night.

They were truly delicious and the best I have had in living memory. One order was enough for two of us

and washed down with draft Guinness really made the evening.

On another matter, anyone recommend a good place to get a Moussaka please?
