I'm not taking sides. What leads to the misery of many foreigners here is they have lost their life savings to a Thai hooker / scammer. When we read of such cases on this forum, the guy is ridiculed in page after page of comments. You quite rightly point out that if a foreigners puts a house in a Thai girls name, and is later kicked out of the house, no crime has been committed, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been scammed. Then, you get cases like the below. Is he a victim of crime, or did he just make some poor decisions? Could what happened to him, happen to anyone?
