No where near .Easiest way is to get yourself to Hua Lumphong Railway Station by bus or train, then take a taxi or tuk-tuk to Bo- Bae market, which is in Krung Kasem Road .About 10 minutes from H.L.R.S. Or take a taxi from where you are.It is very well known amongst Thais, not so farang. Every taxi or tuk-tuk driver knows Bo Bae. It is a very big market. You may find Klong(canal) Krung Kasem On a map . Bo Bae market is located on Klong Krung Kasem . It is between H.L.R.S. and Thewet.

problem with bo bae is european sizing, I was a wholesale buyer for several years here in Thailand and this is a fact. Also there are several manufacturea in Chiang Mai the way to meet them is Chatajack market as many of them run stalls there.

True ,about sizing in the past. But then the Russians "invaded". They are not a small race of people. So , larger sizes are available, not sure how widespread availability is. In the past ,saw many,many signs in Russian, when I went past. where there are Russian signs may be a good place to start. If you need larger sizes. I might also add ,that Thais are growing bigger also. Many Thais are much larger than they were 20 years ago. Even obesity is rearing its ugly head here. So, larger sizes are now needed by Thais, too

Bo Bae is the wholesale market, and it's where most of the Thai retailers and stall holders buy their stock. If you are buying in quantity you can get better pricing. Sizing is an issue everywhere in Asia, L in US/Western sizing is an XL in Asia from most manufacturers unless they are specifically making for a western label.
