Errmm... correct me if I am wrong, but every other Thai Visa post I have read has stated that the booze ban is until midnight tomorrow - not 6 p.m.

Can someone please clarify?

Saw the 'flyer' in Jomtien at 4.30 pm No booze from 6pm today (Sat) till midnight Sunday.

Why all close if they are allowed to sell soft drinks. Another priviledge for the passioned alcoholics....

I wasn't aware of the closure and it was even hard to get a soda.... :(

Not clear how not selling booze to foreigners in bars really helps Thailand have better elections. Someone had to say it.
