July 5, 201114 yr I am going to start an implant in Bangkok but there is a good chance the swelling won't have gone down enough for the new tooth to be put in before we leave town. They say 3 months and it will be just under that when we leave. However, when we do leave Bangkok we are going to travel for a month in the south, so I was thinking I could have the second part done there. Can anyone recommend a good dentist in Trang or would I need to have it done in Phuket? Price is also an issue! Thanks in advance for any advice
July 7, 201114 yr Seeing as no one has replied yet I can only say, as I am in Trang (although haven't used a dentist) that there are plenty dentists here and of varying standards (from the outside) but most seem good, clean and modern and I don't think you would have any trouble finding one in Trang, language barrier may be an issue though if you don't speak Thai.. but I'd like to think a dentist would understand when you pointed to your tooth anyway! Shug

July 15, 201114 yr Thanks Shug. I was beginning to think there were no dentists in Trang! Cheers Try Smile House. If you are facing the Massive Church it is to your right on a soi. The receptionist doesn't really speak English but the dentists have enough to get the job done.
September 2, 201114 yr I'm not sure how any dentist would feel about completing someone else's implant. What happens if there is a problem? Who will take responsibility? When there were complications with one of my implants, my dentist/oral surgeon went over and above to rectify the problem. No extra costs. If there is a complication with yours, which dentist will take responsibility? Thing about flying back if you are happy with your original practitioner.
