UK Home Secretary to decide on Aldhouse extradition to Thailand

PHUKET: -- The decision whether or not to extradite British national Lee Aldhouse from the UK to face murder charges in Thailand will be handed to Home Secretary Theresa May, the Birmingham Mail reports.

The decision could take up to two months, the newspaper says.

Aldhouse was arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport on August 18 last year on an outstanding warrant in the UK.

His arrest came amid an extensive police manhunt for him in connection with the stabbing murder of American Deshawn Longfellow days earlier, on August 14.

Mr Longfellow’s sister, Sabre Anderson, believes Aldhouse will be extradited to Thailand to face charges.

“We have been told that he (Aldhouse) will now be sent back to Thailand.

“He is trying to appeal the case but we have been told that we have a very strong case,” she said.

Yeah baby !

Bangkok Hilton for this piece of d*gsh*t who was quoted as saying "can't I just kill one farang"?

Yeah you can, now suffer the consequences, you steroided out freakazoid.

There is really only one reason that will prevent his return to Thailand, and that is if the charge that the Thais detail to the UK government carry Capital Punishment (i.e. death penalty) as a potential punishment if found guilty. This is the same as many other nations.

Think I read a previous news report that the Thai Gov had assured the UK Gov that the death penalty is off the table for this case.

Good to hear (at last) that this guy might (??) still face Thai justice.

Sounds like the sister and the home secretary realize he is a unstable lunatic.

This is a long overdue update on the case, I was beginning to think this matter was going to go away quietly, but does not seem so now.

Good he should be incarcerated here, of course he could of course buy his way out, and pleed that he was under the influence of drugs and he is now very sorry and please accept this money under the table.:realangry:

I would like to go and visit him in the thai jail. Just turn up with Mickey Dees or KFC and have a nice feast in front of him washed down with an ice cold ale. Ahhh the pleasure of him having to watch me gives me goosebumps.
