Hi,

Can anybody tell me how many times a One Year Multiple Entry visa can be renewed? And do you have to renew it from your home country (UK is mine) every year?

Thanks!!

You don't renew it. You simply apply for a new visa. You don't have to apply in your home-country, but in the region most people get only a single.

To help you better, we need to know on what grounds you received a multiple non-immigrant visa. Under circumstances it is possible to get 1 year extensions of stay from immigration

Thanks Mario2008. I read up about a One Year Multiple Entry Visa. By the looks of it, it is a visa one can get from your home country (mine is UK). And it is given for exploring tourism and possible business ventures in Thailand. It seems like it is something different to the Non Immigrant O and Non Immigrant B visas. I am not sure however. Do you know which One Year Multiple Entry Visa I am referring to?

There is no such visa. There were Consulates in the UK that took a very liberal view in issuing non immigrant O visas (for visiting friends) but that ended earlier in the year.

Thanks lopburi3,

I am really confused with all these visas now. This is where I read about it: http://gam-legalalliance.com/one-year-visa.php. Is it still possible to get this One Year Multiple Entry visa?

You seem to be talking about a multi entry non immigrant B visa issued for a specific purpose. With proper paperwork such a visa can be issued. But such a visa is not issued for tourists or living in Thailand full time unless as part of a business/work stay. Always remember it is you who make an application and could be held responsible if anything is amiss.

Thanks Lopburi3,

I'll try read up more about visas on the internet. At the moment it all seems very confusing to me :).
