surayu
" Khun Chit, was in the process of escorting his horses to a local field to graze ". So, let me get this right, he was taking his horses to eat the grass on someone elses field.......mmmh, more and more i see in my area, local thai building up wall, fences, whatever sort of barrier around even complitely dismissed plots of land, with only weeds and wild plants growing on them with a eight more than 2 meters high from the ground, perhaps they are discovering the western concept of private property? somebody unfortunately is going to find out when is too late already and on the harsh way, RIP. I guess you're right.in the western world you would also be shot death if your horse eat some grass from a remote field that doesn't belong to you,or maybe anyone else for that matter. surayu
Mine was just a possible explanation, anything is possible. Especially in the remote agricultural areas, they have this mentality of step in each other property without thinking much (or maybe better say, at all) about ownership, if however there is an arguments between the 2 thai parts, the "offending" part will very likely continue his business inside the property of the "offended" part as if nothing had taken place and continue as usual, this might create a reaction from the latter which instead of speak out his reasons with some logic(sic), will start a violent confrontation, talking about issues or explaining theirselfs with words is not something worth any consideration here, as involves the risk of losing faces
