Right the whisky is on the table as well as the black bun and salmon sarnies but can I find a bit of coal anywhere? All this central heating and not a piece of coal Progress,forward and backward but not too far....

The lights in the local pub can just be seen twinkling thru yet another dark,murky night here in North London where in an hour or twos time everyone should be tucking into khun wifes hand made thai sping rolls--phet -mak mak.

Bangers seems a long way away but then does it really matter that much.

Life is short so make the best of it....

So wherever you are, whether it is St Andrews or South Africa, Edinburgh or Egypt, the Western Isles or Washington or even wi Jimmy down there in sunny Honolulu (see you jimmi) "arra best" for a happy prosperous and peaceful New Year
