"Had the new lights fitted today. Words cannot describe just how bright these things are. It makes my soi at night look like daytime."

I wonder how it looks to the oncoming traffic.

If fitted properly it will look like bright headlights on a motorbike :D

i always make sure i have the courtesy to blind an oncoming driver with my hi-beam lights if he also happens to be driving around with hi-Beam lights on

they amount of inconsiderate pricks that will blind the oncoming traffic and not bother to dim the lights is unbelievable in bangkok sois ,some of which have streetlights already !

not sure if these new "super bright lights " are responsible but ive been seeing it a lot more around bkk on scooters (havent noticed it on a big bike yet )

Gee, that's great! Then you and the on-coming driver will both be blinded, increasing your (and his) chances of an accident (and injury) significantly.

"And he was as right as the day is long, and he was just as dead as if he was wrong...."

Stupidity is contageous!

if i go around a corner with my normal lights on ,and some IDIOT is blinding me with hi-beams i cant see a pothole or possible hazard in front of my bike

its only fair i put him in the same situation

if he acknowledges and dims his lights then immediately i will also dim mine also and put it down to an lapse of concentration on his part

if he doesnt give a toss for my or my passengers safety i will afford him the same courtesy

im sure most people being blinded and put at risk would not appreciate it also

but maybe you are one of the drivers that keeps hi-beams on regardless of other road users ?;)

If they install the after market muffler at Sumet Honda does that void the warranty. I am thinking of buying a pcx but looking for more info.

I understand your situation and it's something that i have to do from time to time too.

After having the oil changed on my bike recently i also asked for the guys to change one of the blown headlight bulbs.

After replacing the bulb the guy told me i MUST ride around with the high beams on, never use the low beams because the filament will burn out quickly..... errrr, ok then..... Strange man!

So with this in mind and considering this was straight from a Yamaha mechanic i thought about how many people might have been told this, if it is something Yamaha brief their trainee mechanics then that figure could be 100,000's of people.

And how many of those people would forget to dim their lights at night or just assume that the blue indication on the dashboard is for low beam.....?
