Just sent for UK passport renewal, takes a month. My passport has ran out of pages. have already extended tourist visa by 30 days expires on 8th August, if I go to Chaeng wattana soi 7, might they give me 2 weeks extension in this case

Not likely. It is our responsibility to keep passports current.

If you ask let us know. I would love to be wrong about this.

Allowed to keep original passport and just send copy as must have passport in Thailand.

Have 1 more tourist entry on my passport, thought of going to Aranya Prathet to activate new visa but pages are full, well some of the stamps are old (2007) maybe they would just put the Cambodia visa over old pages. 1 page is free but only because an old Thai tourist visa has fallen out (stapled back in) can see half red stamp on side of page (don't want to be accused of removing official documents). there are a couple of half pages free too.

Other option is to call processing office in HK and cancel new passport and return to UK. Hmmmm.....

A half page should do, normally if they can find space they will stamp you in. For Cambodia you can get an E-visa. That one takes up litle space.

You apply online and print it out. At the border they staple it to your passport and I believe they also put a small stamp in your passport.

Believe you can only use the in the link mentioned borders!

Unless I am mistaking your passport is invalid upon receipt of application for processing so it can not be used for travel (to obtain a new visa) from that point on.

When did you send your passport? As HKG might actually cancel your old one, if this happens to turn up on the computer at Cambodia then what?

This might happen am not sure how the Embassy in HKG would cancel your old one, as you have applied for a new one, and how they inform the other countries, who then inform all border crossing point. Would be informative to find out this info if anyone knows.
