I have a Toyota Soluna Vios, 2005 model.....have just been to two 2nd hand car dealers....one offered THB300,000 immediately , so I knew that probably wasn't a good price.

Only 200 m up the same street, another dealer offered THB 320,000.....also, very quickly

I've been looking at some commercial Thai websites, (which I cannot read, unfortunately) but I can see the date(s) 2006 selling for THB420,000 ie only 1 year "younger" than mine but 100,000 baht more than mine. What's going on here?

Can anyone please advise a ballpark figure I should be able to sell this year/model Soluna Vios?

all suggestions gratefully appreciated

thanks,

Tony

You have gone to a dealer to sell your car then wonder why the price you are given is less than they sell for.

The fact is they are a business ,they are in it for profit . They have overheads like rent, wages & guarantees . If you sell the car yourself do you give a guarantee ?.

So get real .If you want to sell quick sell cheap

Its all just comon sense :)

There is over 500 for sale here of your model, year 2003-2005 that will give you an idea what they sell for.

adder is right, quick sale at a 2nd hand dealer, money in your pocket right away. Sell it private and get maybe 100k bath more but can take some time.

Thank you very much for yr reply....most helpful indeed.....gives me accurate idea of what price it could get

I have 10 weeks in which to sell....and will see if I can enlist the help of a Thai friend to advertise on facebook etc.....worth a try!

thanks, once again!h
