Can Anyone Recommend A Solicitor Thai/thai

Featured Replies

My wife worries so much that her former, not legally married, husband doesn´t appear to sign that my wife will get sole custody for her son.

He´s staying at the moment with her former mother in law, for the last 5 years now.The boys father doesn´t care for his son and he´s living about 350km away with his new wife.My wifes mother kept the bank receipts when she sended money to her grandson.

Our first attempt will be to go to the amphoe where he´s residing at the moment together with the father and his mother. Our party will be my wife and 2 of her brothers.Of course the other party will expect money and my wife will negotiate that.

But what can she do if he doesn´t appear? It´s still 5 days left and my wife hasn´t slept for 2 days. You know what that means if a Thai person can´t get sleep.

Could someone please advise me or recommend someone?

It would help if you tell us where you are.

Then a member may be able to suggest a lawyer in the area.

My first bit of advice is 'Stay Low', don't let the Thai father know there is a Farang involved, doing so will undoubtedly lead to demands for money - you pay, I sign.

Secondly, you need to obtain two things, custody of the child and indefinate leave to travel with the child - they are not the same thing. If you need advice on the indefinate leave to travel issue, PM me and I'll send you some details.
