beaufoy Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 We keep rabbits and need large amounts of hay, we have been buying from pet shops but it is too expensive, we looked for cow farmers but they use dried rice plants, and it seems pig farmers do not use hay. The pet shops buy hay in bails so it is about but does anyone know where in chiangmai
murrinman Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 what sort of hay would ruzie grass be any good prime cattle feed running at approx 8% protein if it is give us a hoy ive got heaps
naammanow Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Not sure where you are but I have a lot of grass every month, from cutting. With sunny weather it will be hay in 2/3 days. If you are interested i can make it for you and you can collect or go from there. People with large lawns might also be interested to "save" the cutting grass for you and if you have a space like a road or concrete drive or so to turn it a few times a day, you will have hay a plenty. Maybe show your location and people might be interested, I surely am!
Pond Life Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Sorry, slightly off topic, Does anyone know where I can find bales of rice straw. I plan to use it as archery target, so needs to be very compressed. Thanks
