It seems as if I've run out of space... :D

Obviously posting too many pictures in a certain thread... :o

When I try to post an attachment (eg. pdf or jpg file), I cannot do it, and I see the following message:

Attachments

Global Space Left: 0bytes

I've been to My Controls, Manage Your Attachments, and I deleted a whole stack of old ones (about 60 of them), and it now tells me the following:
You have used 12.62mb of 1000k

You have 34 attachments (100% used)

So I'm obviously still over the limit and I'll have to delete some more.

Has the user file attachment space on the server been reduced lately?

After deleting some more, it now says:

You have used 6.01mb of 1000k

You have 18 attachments (100% used)

Now, my maths isn't all that good, but isn't 1000K = 1MB?

If so, why did I have some 20MB of space remaining a couple of weeks ago, and now only have a total allowance of 1MB?

Or am I missing something?

I do have a thick head this morning... something to do maybe with last night's Chang session... :o

I had a similar problem before and now just either link to a photo, or if you place it in the gallery and link to it it doesn't count as an attachment.

I have often wondered how you post so many attachments JD, I always seem to be running out of space.

Seem you may have fallen through some kind of attachment hole?

you are not over your storage limit but maybe over the per topic limit, try to attach a smaller pic in a new topic to test.

OK... trying in this topic...

Nope. :o

It still says

Most of my attachments are via Photobucket... but there are certain filetypes that aren't supported there... like .wmv, .pdf, etc which are supported by the Invision upload feature.

Any other clues anyone?
