Thais not too active in love-making this year

Thailand has slipped a little as a country of active lovers in this year's Global Sex Survey which has found that Thais made love 97 times a year on average, compared to last year's score of 103. The survey was carried out by Durex, a leading condom manufacturer

Last year Thailand emerged as the most sexually active country in Asia with a score of 103, followed by Malaysia (86), India (82), Taiwan (80), and Singapore and Hong Kong (both 79).

This year Greece became the sexiest nation in the world with a score of 138, compared to the average of 103. Japan remained at the bottom with a score of 45 compared to last year's 46. pity the poor Japanese :D:D:D

The survey, based on 317,000 questionnaires distributed in 41 countries, also showed the Turks have the highest number of sexual partners _ 14.5 per person, well above the average of 9. Thailand's average is 10.6

Asked to rank their favourite places to have sex, half of the respondents said they liked doing it in their cars, while another 39% chose parents' bedroom. :D About 53% of Thai respondents chose the bathroom. :o On the topic of devices for self-gratification, 41% picked pornographic movies, another 31% chose massage oils or lotions, while about 30% went for lubricants.

An additional survey conducted specially on Thailand revealed that lovers in the kingdom felt the strongest urge to have sex on Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, a third of the respondents worldwide wanted the government to invest more in sex education. In Thailand, more than 50% wanted the government to do more to promote sex education.

The survey also found that the average age when people first gained knowledge about sex is 13.2 years old worldwide, compared to 14.4 years old in Thailand.

The average age when people worldwide had sex for the first time is 15.9 years old. It's 16.2 in Thailand.

However, young people between 16-20 years old tended to have first sex at about 13.1 years of age, compared to the past figures of between 16-20 years old.

Meanwhile, Thai commentators on the survey results have raised concern over the finding that people today tend to have sex at a much younger age than before.

Senator Chirmsak Pinthong said *insane BS crap comments deleted*

Dr Phansak Sukraroek, a leading obstetrician, blamed *typical blah blah blah junk deleted*

Nakorn Santiyothin, a teacher at Suan Kularb School, said

*reasonable comments undeleted* sex education could help guide young people to develop good sexual behaviour. "But adults have to be open-minded, they have to view sex as a common issue and speak about it openly, so that children would gain proper knowledge,'' she said.

Whilst we're all talking about sex...

A SURVEY HAS INDICATED THAT MORE THAN 50% OF THAIS HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX.

According to the Durex Global Sex Survey, it disclosed that more than 50% of Thais have unprotected sex. Meanwhile, a number of parties are calling for sex education to be taught at an earlier age.

Yesterday, teachers, students, and Bangkok Senator JERMSAK PINTHONG (ΰΉ€ΰΈˆΰΈ΄ΰΈ‘ΰΈ¨ΰΈ±ΰΈΰΈ”ΰΈ΄ΰΉŒ ΰΈ›ΰΈ΄ΰΉˆΰΈ™ΰΈ—ΰΈΰΈ‡) engaged in a discussion on sex education. The group agreed that Thais should start learning sex education when they are at least 12 years old, instead of 15 at the present.

The group discussed the result of this globally conducted survey in 48 countries throughout the world, including Thailand. The survey indicated that more than 50% of Thai people practiced unprotected sex. According to the Survey, Thais have their first sexual relationship at an average age of 16.2 years, compared with the global average of 15.9 years. As for unintended pregnancy, the global survey indicated that 9% of pregnant women aged under 18 had unintended pregnancy, whereas the number is only 3% for Thailand.

Many parties in the discussion called on the government to support sex education in order to foster safe sex practices, as the result of the survey showed that as many as 40% of Thais had sexual intercourse because they wanted to experiment.
