The Download Microsoft Program for add ons, has cured it. thanks for helping.Never noticed that D/Load before.

Not sure if this is the same subject but rather than start a new thread I'll chip in anyway ;)

For some time I've been getting the message:- An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potential Conflicts at the top of some pages.

It does not seem to have any effect on the page, unless something is not loading, so I wonder what it is all about and how to get rid of it.

I did a Google for The Download Microsoft Program for add onsbut that made no sense to me

I'm using IE8
