Blood Request

Featured Replies

An American in Chiangmai had a bad accident and is in need of A negative blood.

He is in mcCormick Hospital. Please contact Kim at 0850115311 if you can help

Thanks To All

Hi

I'm A+ not sure if that's compatible or not

David

I'm A negative and would be happy to help. The only thing though is that I lived in Africa for the last four years. Never received any blood products while there, and don't have hepatitis or HIV, but some places have restrictions on people donating who have lived in Africa, so I wanted to check. I will try to call Kim.

Edited to add - called and left a message, assuming that phone number was correct!

I have tried to call your number, but just got voice mail. Send me an SMS, my number ends with 00.

Cheers

George

Thaivisa policy is to send out a newsletter and broadcast via SMS, if someone with a rare blood group need blood, but we have been unable to contact the OP by phone [voicemail] the hospital is also contacted, but they refuse to help us unless we have the full name of the patient.

I'm about 25 minutes away from McCormick, and if it were an emergency, I'd be happy to go donate, but I haven't heard back yet.

New phone contact with head nurse @ Cormac Hospital reveals that they have A- blood enough for now.

We are informed the the patient's name is Gary. No request for A- blood was made.

Thats what we can do for now.

I am A-.

Contact if needed.

Good luck to Gary !

I would be interested on being on a list that list my name, phone number and blood type just in case it is needed in the future.
