KRS1
Anyone ever cut the carb spring that goes on top of the slide? This is for a regular carb not a CV carb. The draw rate on my new setup is alot heavier and less responsive than the previous CV carb and want to make it lighter. paulchiangmai
I would look at other reasons first, such as a sticky cable or throttle twist grip. The spring you refer to is the last thing to make sure the slide shuts off the mixture. The last thing you want is a stuck slide. Try removing the cable from the slide and spring and make sure it is all free.
KRS1
Checked the routing and everything is clean and clear of kinks. Going to modify a different cable type tomorrow and see if it helps (bike is a CBR 150). Had to use the cable from an NSR today, it's a 1 into 2 cable, with a splitter in the middle, the other cable is for a 2t pump. If i can figure out which Honda four stroke uses a regular slide carb i can use that one...but can't think of any. Anyone know?
