Is Morchit Station Floodedor Not?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just wondering if Morchit station is flooded or not?, as I want to get the bus from Bangkok to Koh Samui

Cheers

Hi

There is a pinned dedicated flood report thread found here:

As well as updated Thailand live reports found here:

You can take this bus from southern bus station - sai tai mai

Sai Tai and Rangsit are the areas that are currently flooded or will have a chance of flooding, Mo Chit is currently ok. It would be a good idea to travel to Hua Hin via victory and get a bus from there if Mo Chit becomes flooded.

he means sai tai mai bus station near Pinklao

Bang Yai and Taling Chan is also under severe warning the last report I read, Mo Chit seems to be the only safe bus station.

Mor Chit was operating normally Thursday night but the usual 9 hour ride to Kalasin took 20 hours with diversions.

sai tai mai is operating without problems yet, but water is just a few km away.

depending where you are in bangkok it might be more convenient and faster to take bus from sai tai mai
