Transport From Don Muang To Suvarnabhumi Airport (Flooding)

Featured Replies

my wife and I are flying into Don Muang tomorrow evening and have a connection to make at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Is the flooding effecting travel between the 2 airports? what would be the best way to connect between the 2 airports?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No that deep, but be aware that there is some water around that area. Buses still running look for a brown bus with a number in the five hundred and fifties (55*), cannot remember the last digit, or even a taxi, as some will still be around the area.

Don Muang Airport is closed, so you will probably fly into Swampy. I dont know where you are going from there as the water is starting to enter the city. I would make some inquiries re what condition your destination is in. Can you get through the water etc.

Keith, now it would be good to know whether you got to Bangkok and how!

That would be valuable information!

Unless he is flying with Nok Air, they have stopped flying until 1 November.

The OP has probably already made other arrangements by now but this might help others with the same problem.

The good news or that bad news first?

Anyway you probably won't be flying into Don Muang as of yesterday.

There is flood water on the runways and all domestic flights still flying are being diverted to Suvarmabhumi now.

If your domestic flight does leave, that's where you'll be landing.
